My laptop officially gave up the ghost last week; no apparent reason, it just lost the will to carry on. Wasn't that old, really, only about three years, but I guess these things happen. The really sad part is that *all* my work was on that hard drive, and don't tell me I should've backed it up, because I had just bought an external drive and was going to tranfer all the pertinent data that weekend.

Two pieces of good news, however, is that a) Spending a week or two without a computer gave me time to realize how behinnd I was in a lot of things (my DeviantArt site included) and b) I got an entirely brand-new computer (on which I am typing at this exact moment.

So as soon as this new machine gets set up and settled, I'll be posting the updates to my work and the assignments I've been working on.
